Our annual festive extravaganza, WinterFest, returns on Friday, December 9th, from 3:30 – 7:00pm. Join us for a jam-packed afternoon of festive fun, stalls, brrr-illiant activities, performances, delicious food & drink. There are even rumours of a special guest from the North Pole making an appearance. So come along, soak up the festivities and bring the whole family to enjoy the festivities and a mince pie or two.

WinterFest is a community event run by the community for the community to spread a little festive cheer whilst raising money for our Emergency Food Bank. Last year was our first in-person WinterFest since the beginning of the pandemic, and it was so much fun. Our Ageactivity 60+ choir and dance group gave fantastic performances, and we loved seeing all the local performers who came along to share their music with us.

We also welcomed local organisations, artists, and jewellers who showcased their creations and enjoyed sweet treats from local bakeries Chae Bakes and the Luminary Bakery. We even had a special visit from Santa and his donkeys from Kentish Town City Farm and raised a whopping £725 for our Food Bank.

This year there’s so much to look forwards to; we have lots of festive treats for the whole family and lots of opportunities to get involved. Everyone is welcome to be a part of WinterFest. Whether you’re a local business, organisation or community group that would like a stall, run a free workshop, perform, help with the event organisation or volunteer on the day, we would love to hear from you. Please email info@castlehaven.co.uk to find out more.

And whilst you’re waiting for the big day to arrive, relive the magic of last year’s WinterFest here.
