The Story of Castlehaven

In 1985, a group of residents, concerned about the lack of local facilities for children and older people, banded together to create Castlehaven, and in 1986, the Community Association received funding to refurbish an abandoned Piano Warehouse into the building we call home today.

These days Castlehaven is one of the leading community associations in Camden. Our award-winning centre provides free activities and local support for over 10,000 people every year.

Although I'm not from Camden, Castlehaven has become my second home. I've been coming here for years, and I feel a sense of belonging and comfort every time I'm here.
