To kick off 2024 and wave goodbye to last year, our Ageactivity 60+ team, Rosa and Bea, went all out to throw a super special celebration for our over 60 members at the fantastic music & arts venue, The Forge, who kindly gave us the space for free.
The afternoon, to put it simply, was a delight. Our members enjoyed a delicous three-course meal, and musical numbers, from award-winning entertainer, writer, and cabaret star, Alex Green, who got everyone on their feet dancing!
Rosa and Bea organised a raffle, with one lucky Ageactivity member winning an impressive five times! And last, but not least, Castlehaven’s CEO, Tricia, gave a heart-warming speech, highlighting how wonderful it is to come together.
One of our members, Nilofar, who doesn’t get out as much as they would like said,
”The afternoon was truly wonderful. It was lovely getting to know new people, and everyone was so kind, especially the staff. I will remember it for the rest of my life.
Nilofar’s words echo our mission to cultivate a community where everyone feels supported and able to come together, tackle social isolation, and forge meaningful relationships.
