Join our weekly community gardening sessions on Mondays & Wednesdays to improve your physical and mental health well-being through food growing, gardening, nature-themed arts and crafts and other activities. We always stop for a tea break and have time for a chat! These sessions are for anyone 18+ looking to learn more about gardening, connect with nature and improve their overall well-being.
No previous knowledge or experience is required, and attendees are welcome to bring a friend, family member or support worker to the session. We accept referrals from social prescribers, community connectors, and other organisations. The Elm Haven community garden is situated on the upper level of the Elm Village Open Space, and it is only accessible via stairs, making it not wheelchair accessible at this time. Please email environmentalteam@castlehaven.org.uk for more information or to make a referral enquiry.
