Join The Outside Project for Outsider Pride in our community gardens.
The event is a dry picnic (no alcohol or drugs), with speeches, music and memorials in memory of the Homeless Queers of the Stonewall Riots.
The Outside Project is an LGBTIQ+ Community Shelter, Centre and Domestic Abuse Refuge in response to those within the LGBTQIA+ community who feel endangered, who are homeless, ‘hidden’ homeless and feel that they are on the outside of services due to historical and present prejudice in society and in their homes. Follow them on social media @lgbtiqoutside for more information about Outsider Pride.
Please help us offer a multitude of age and culturally appropriate activities to residents of a highly deprived area.
