We’re looking for a proactive and approachable Sports & Facilities Out of Hours Caretaker to manage our sports pitch bookings, support room and hall hires, and help maintain a clean, secure, and welcoming environment.

Sports & Facilities Caretaker Job Description

This role is a zero-hour contract and will involve working under our Events & Facilities Manager. Responsibilities include overseeing evening and weekend pitch bookings, assisting users, managing equipment, supporting football leagues and events, and ensuring facilities are clean, safe, and well-run.

The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable, with experience working in public-facing or supervisory roles, ideally in sport or community settings with football league knowledge. They’ll have strong communication skills, manage multiple tasks, and be willing to work evenings, weekends, and outdoors.
