Want to make a real difference in Camden?

Join Castlehaven Community Association as a Volunteer Trustee or Treasurer and help shape the future of our vibrant community hub.

Whether you’re a seasoned finance professional, an expert in IT and data, an advocate for equality and inclusion, an environmental champion, or a passionate young voice under 25, with a deep knowledge of Camden, we invite you to join our dynamic Board of Trustees.

This is your chance to influence real change, champion community wellbeing, and help us empower local people.

We’re looking for two volunteer trustees to join our board: Young Trustee(under 25) and Treasurer. Both roles will help shape our charity’s direction and make a real difference in the community.

As Treasurer, you’ll take the lead on our finances, managing budgets, tracking income and expenditure, keeping accurate records, and ensuring we meet all legal requirements. This is perfect for someone organised, detail-focused, and passionate about keeping a small charity financially healthy.

As a Young Trustee (under 25), you’ll bring fresh ideas and a youth perspective to the board, influence key decisions, and champion the voices of young people in Camden. It’s a unique chance to gain board-level experience, build leadership skills, and create positive change.

We aim to increase our board’s diversity to better reflect our community. We welcome applications from all backgrounds, especially groups underrepresented on charity boards, and are committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for trustees, staff, volunteers, and beneficiaries. For more information, see the role descriptions below.
