We’re Looking for a Castle Youth Intern!

Castlehaven has over 32yrs of experience working with local children, young people and families. We have also won awards for intergenerational practice and pride ourselves on providing opportunities for young people to help them thrive both physically, mentally and emotionally. We’ve also worked with and managed a multitude of international and national interns over the past 13yrs. 

Castlehaven currently run a wide range of activities for young people aged 11-19 from the local area, based within our Haven building and using our 4 acre open space - including our floodlit astroturf sports pitches and Horticulture Hub. This includes three core youth sessions a week offering a range of on-site activities such as sports, arts and crafts, cooking and music, and off-site trips and opportunities.

We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to help support our Children and Young People Project Manager in the running and development of youth work at Castlehaven, along with our team of staff and volunteers. We will be offering the right candidate a comprehensive formal and informal training and development programme in youth work at Castlehaven.

This postition is funded for 12 months by the Jack Petchey Foundation.
