Our food bank began as a reaction to the Covid-19 pandemic, financial hardships and job losses in the local area. Since April 2019, our dedicated staff, volunteers and generous donors have fed over 5,000 local people, providing a vital lifeline for those living in Camden Town and Primrose Hill Ward.
Since the late eighties, when we had a soup kitchen for rough sleepers, we haven't seen this level of demand for food in our local area. We are dedicated to providing this vital service for as long as we can, but we need your help to do this. You can ensure that no one in your community goes hungry this Christmas by:
Every donation provides a lifeline to local peoples lives. For just £10, you can give a family of four enough fruit and veg to last an entire week. Together we can tackle food poverty in our local community - Donate Today.
Our food bank relies on non-perishable food donations to operate. Any donations are gratefully received and are vital to ensure that food bank users receive healthy and nutritious food parcels. You can donate to our food bank on Wednesdays and Thursdays mornings, or pop along to our annual winter festival, WinterFEST between 3.30pm - 7pm on Friday 10th December where we will be accepting donations at our dedicated food bank stall. Please Donate dry goods such as:
• Pasta, Rice and Noodles
• Tins of tomatoes, pulses, soup and tinned vegetables
• Tins of fish and meat
• Jam and cereals
• Tea and coffee
• Unused toiletries and hygiene products
