We have teamed up with the amazing Highgate Newton CC and Kentish Town CC to create a new delivery food bank hub. The Covid-19 pandemic and the economic consequences of lockdown have hit our community particularly hard. Local charities and food banks have noticed a huge increase in demand since March.
Our lockdown services have been focused on improving mental health & well being, but now we want to help people who have lost income and are experiencing hardship as a direct consequence of the pandemic. We predict more job losses in the future with the end of the furlough scheme on the horizon.
The new service is launching on Monday 1st June and will be delivery based. Food parcels will be delivered to local addresses on Thursdays. If you are in need of food please call 07776724099.
We require your help to provide this desperately needed service. Please donate to our appeal to raise vital funds that will be used to purchase food. You can donate here:
In addition to money we will also be accepting food donations which can be brought to the hall on Wednesdays between 2-5pm. Address: Clarence Hall, Bradfield Court, Clarence Way Estate, Hawley Road, London NW1 8RN.
Would you like to help feed the community? We are looking for local volunteers to help deliver the food parcels. If you are interested, please email info@castlehaven.org.uk or call 07776724099.
In the 34 years Castlehaven has operated, we have never seen such local demand for food, but with your help we can provide a much needed lifeline to a struggling community.
