Greetings from Castlehaven

Greetings from Castlehaven

 Mon, May 18, 2020

It has been a pleasure conversing with Ageactivity 60+ members over the phone, hearing tales of generosity and resilience. These conversations motivated us to do something special for each of our members - we wanted them to know they are constantly in our thoughts. We decided to send personalised handwritten cards containing a sweet treat to all of our 284 members. Sometimes the simplest gestures are the most powerful, and we have been overwhelmed by the sheer volume of thank you notes and positive comments received in response to the cards.

Here are some quotes that made us emotional to read:

“Thank you for all the wonderful support you and your colleagues are giving us. It's so good to hear from you - your recent card and treat was so heartwarming. We would all be so much sadder and alone without you. Take care of yourselves and stay well. We'll celebrate big time when this is all over”.

“I’m so impressed – you’re all working so hard at Castlehaven and being so inventive”!

“Thanks very much for the lovely card I received this morning. I was touched. Thanks for all e-mails that you've been sending to me at this very difficult time. I'm well and have everything I need , but it's nice to know I'm not forgotten . Best wishes to all of you”.

Reading these lovely comments makes our day, so thank you. The health & wellbeing of our members will always be paramount, and we sincerely hope our cards brightened up their days.
