The Castlehaven Community Association have started a new and exciting collaboration with Cooperation Town to provide food parcels to those directly affected by Covid-19 pandemic. Castlehaven, Highgate Newtown and Kentish Town Community Centres joint Covid-19 Foodbank project has now come to an end due to ending of our joint funding stream from DEFRA. We worked tirelessly with hundreds of local volunteers in providing thousands of meals for our local community. Highgate Newtown and Kentish Town Community Centre's will still be providing food in different ways for their local communities to benefit from.
We were extremely lucky to work with these two amazing community organisations to help those most in need due to Covid-19 pandemic.
We are very happy to announce that Castlehaven will temporarily provide much needed healthy food parcels to our local community until our Foodbank Campaign funding runs low. If you would like to donate please hit this link Foodbank Appeal
We have recently changed our Foodbank phone number and venue, so please do spread the word, so that we can contiue to reach those most in need:
Have you lost your job or income and are experiencing hardship as a direct consequence of Covid-19?
Do you need help call us on 07776724099 to arrange an emergency food parcel.
You must live in the Camden Town with Primrose Hill Ward and priority will go to residents living in postcode - NW1 8. We have the right to refuse a food parcel.
Please call us between Mon-Weds 10am-3pm for a food parcel pick up slot on Thurs.
NEW PICK UP ADDRESS: Clarence Hall, Bradfield Court, (Behind Quinn’s Pub), Hawley Road, Camden Town, London NW1 8RN.
Deliveries will only be for the following: Shielding Over 70s, Disabled, Parents/Carers of Child/ren aged under 5yrs without support. We have the right to refuse delivery.
