We're so pleased to be celebrating 30 years at Castlehaven - we've been spending some time looking at all our services and we've got some exciting changes to announce!
Firstly to let you kow the community centre will be closed on April Fools (1st April) and won't be re-opening again until October as The Littlehaven Nursery. As we're moving all our staff over the The Haven this building will also be shut for 2 weeks from Monday 4th April until Friday 15th April. This means for that time there will be no day time session or classes for those 2 weeks.
Littlehaven Under 5's Project
Our Littlehaven under 5's drop-in is getting a bigger home! We'll be moving to Kelly St Congregational Church Hall, Kelly Street, Kentish Town, NW1 8PH. The drop-in will be held 2 mornings a week on a Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 12pm. Come along to our launch party on Thursday 21st April 10-12pm.
The Littlehaven Nursery
From October 2016 we will be running our own state of the art Community Nursery - a full day care facility for children under 5. Between April and October we're going to be working with the bst in business to convert our rather old and tired community centre into what we aspire will be a 'Ofsted' outstanding nursery for our youngest community members to start thier long relationship with us.
Ageactivity60+
Our exciting Ageactivity60+ project will retain the same programme packed full with classes, special events and trips for members aged 60 and over. Our staff will also be moving to a newly refurbished office at Kingsbridge Court Shop, NW1 8PU in the spring.
Both our Castleyouth and Casltehaven Community Park projects will continue as normal and we'll be creating a new horticulatural centre on the junction of Hartland and Hawley Roads.
We're holding a public meeting on Tuesday 15th March about these changes - for more information click here.
