What are you doing on Saturday 16th July 12-5pm? Coming to our amazing Community Festival of course!

Do you want an action packed day for all the family, with 60 FREE picnics for children, cocktails for the adults, fabulous fish n chips, curries, animals, cakes & jams, zorb football, BRUNK (a brass punk & ska band), The Hogan Family Band (Cajun music), folk & acoustic music, our community choir, table tennis, a rodeo bull, face painting, a local fire engine (with fire men), theatre & dance workshops, a football tournament and if this all gets too much grab yourself a massage!! Phew! (please see below for full listings!)

The only thing we need now is you!

Thanks to all the wonderful people who've offered to come and play in bands and solo - we're now fully booked!

However if you'd like to hire a stall to sell your wares or tell people what you do we have a few spare - please can you email: Rosa@castlehaven.org.uk

We wouldn't be able to do this without the support of the community so many thanks to Camden Market, Camden Borough Council, Waitrose and funding from our Trustees to make this all possible!

Full Listings

A Ballroom area with DJ and Dance acts & Try out sessions

·         Razzamatazz Hampstead (Childrens theatre/dance school) are doing a couple of performances and sessions for kids to try out their dance moves and theatre skills

·         Ageactivity 60+ Line Dance Class dance routine and have a go session!

·         Belly Dancing show with Cathy (one of our AA60+ Community Choir Members) and she’ll teach how you how to do belly dancing too.

·         In between all these acts there will be time for people to hit the dance for for a boogie with tunes from our DJ’s.

On Stage we have

·         Our Sing Up Sing Out Community Choir

·         Elaine Buckle & her band doing folk acoustic music.

·         Paul Hussey – Singer/guitarist

·         BRUNK – Brass band punk & ska music

·         The Hogan Family Band – Cajun Music

 

Stalls and side shows

·         60 FREE Picnics for kids Gavin at Fields Beneath is volunteering to make these up for us

·         Ventura Animals Tent.

·         Mary’s Family Factory – makes pottery with children and adults.

·         Rodeo Bull, bouncy castle, climbing wall and sumo wrestlers suits.

·         Table tennis

·         Face Painting

·         Under 5’s messy play and arts and crafts.

·         Chalk for floor art.

·         Local fire engine (and firemen)

·         Children’s entertainer.

·         History Hunters Exhibition

·         Massage tent

·         Many Information Stalls including The Littlehaven Nursery.

·         Food stalls – Waitrose will be doing a curry stall and Seawise from Camden Market providing fish and chips, Bar-b-que, a Pimms & Presseco Bar and a Larger/Cider Bar

·         The Ladies of the Lock WI will have a stall with cakes/jams etc.

·         AA60+ will have a cake stall with tea & coffee.

·         Plus a huge prize raffle!

·         Oh and not forgetting (hopefully) a pearly King and Queen who’ll call the raffle and entertain us on the day!

 

On the astro turf pitch 

·         Zorb football

·         Football Tournament 

·         tug of war, beat the goaly, 5 a-side football and much more!
