Become a Youth Worker at Kentish Town Community Centre

Kentish Town Community Centre is looking for part-time Youth workers.

Kentish Town Youth Project is an award-winning youth service based out of Kentish Town Community Centre working in partnership with Castlehaven and Highgate Newtown Community Association. The Youth Team will run sessions for young people aged 11-18 across multiple sites from Highgate to Camden Town and work alongside other youth service providers to keep updated with services available for young people in Camden. Successful applicants will:

  • • Proactively listen and engage with local 11-18 year-olds and will work with the other youth team members to put together creative and engaging sessions based on young people's needs

  • • Create plans, risk assessments and evaluation materials for sessions

  • • Undergo regular safeguarding training and will flag any safeguarding with Kentish Town's Centre Manager

  • • Support Kentish Town's Centre Manager with any extra administrative tasks which benefit the running of the Centre

  • • Be flexible with working hours and happy to work after school hours and evenings

  • • Have the opportunity to gain a Level 2 qualification in Youth Work

If you have excellent people skills, are passionate about youth work and are confident communicating and engaging young people as well as designing session plans, then this is the role for you!
