30th Anniversary Celebrations & Year of Events!

We are celebrating our 30th Anniversary during 2016, to start this year off with a bang we held our Ageactivity 60+ New Year Celebration Lunch on Friday 15th Jan at the Holiday Inn Camden Lock Hotel, with over 100 people from Castlehaven including staff, trustees and Ageactivity 60+ members. It was a great success, with lovely food, music and entertainment.

"I've had such a wonderful afternoon, great food, entertainment and a dance, what more could you ask for! Thank you so much!" Mr B.

A special presentation was given by the Mayor of Camden, Larraine Revah, to our fantastic CEO Eleanor Botwright, who celebrated the amazing achievement of working at Castlehaven since the 5th January 1986. Eleanor was touched by the presentation and gifts, she gave a moving speech thanking all the staff, volunteers and trustees she had worked with during the last 30yrs, she said that working with local people was a great privilege and she's determined to help Castlehaven survive for a long time yet!

During 2016 Castlehaven have organised a great array of heritage projects, art workshops and a large community festival to mark this great achievement! So watch this space for more news!
