The Senior Youth Inclusion Programme (Senior YIP) works with a core group of 50 teenagers aged 13-17 years old who have been identified as being most at risk of arrest, exclusion and/or truancy in and around the Camden area. The Senior YIP aims to help change young people's attitudes towards crime and anti-social behaviour by addressing any factors in their lives that put them at risk of involvement in offending or anti-social behaviour.
As well as receiving one-to-one input from allocated key workers, educational support, advice and guidance on training and employment available within the local community and the chance to meet and befriend new people, the Senior YIP works also hand in hand with the Haven Youth Project.
The Haven Youth Project and Senior Youth Inclusion Programme services are free with occasional costs attached to certain trips/activities and some events during school holidays.
