It’s been a busy month for Ageactivity 60+

 Fri, March 09, 2018

It’s been another jam-packed month here at Ageactivity, with members braving the cold weather to enjoy a host of activities including walks, film screenings, history talks and even an afternoon of ten-pin bowling! Members also received their Spring/Summer 2018 survey, giving them a chance to provide feedback and shape the next programme, which will be out at the end of March.

One member wrote “…the team at Ageactivity are doing such a marvellous job in encouraging people of 60+ age group to socialise and be active - it is of utmost importance! Thank you!” Thank you for all your feedback and suggestions, and do keep it coming!

In the meantime, we are looking forward to rounding off our Autumn/Winter programme with a trip to Scotney Castle next week! A Victorian country house, 14th-century moated castle and romantic garden set in a beautiful wooded estate in the heart of Kent, Scotney has something for everyone. There are still a few spaces left, so do get in touch if you’d like to come along.

In other news, our AA 60+ Helping Hands volunteers have also been very busy this month, cooking and serving soup for 25 fellow members, reading with local schoolchildren and running our March birthday party! Upcoming opportunities include a focus group on Healthy Ageing and assisting with our Tea Dance on 13th March – please drop into the office and chat to Hannah if you’d like more information, or contact us on 02076922238/
