Coming Soon: Families & Young People Project

Coming Soon: Families & Young People Project

 Wed, February 20, 2019

We have some very exciting news! There is a new project coming to Castlehaven later this year that will focus on intergenerational sessions. The new venture will provide set activities that engage and encourage young people and families to improve their health & wellbeing, whilst becoming more connected within their community.

If you like the sound of our new project you should know that we have been running popular intergenerational activities for several months.  On Mondays we have all ages Chess Club, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays we host family and young people boxing sessions with Action Youth Boxing Intervention. Also, we have recently introduced family mixed sports sessions to our programme, which will feature everything from dodgeball to hockey. If you like to play football, West End FC host free sessions for young people on Mondays. If you fancy playing football with your family, then you should check out our all age sessions on Fridays and Saturdays.

For very young children we have Baby Rhyme & Story Time sessions. This new activity by Manor Gardens Welfare Trust is for parents/carers of children under 2yrs.

All the activities mentioned in this article are completely free. For more information please access our calendar.

We are always open to suggestions, so, if there are any activities or sessions you would like to see then please let us know. To do this email tricia@castlehaven.org.uk or call 020 7485 3386.
