Camden Met Police donate bikes to Castle Youth

 Fri, March 09, 2018

It’s been another jam-packed month here at Castle Youth, with the start of our bike maintenance workshops and our youth sessions, which involved lots of cooking, arts and crafts, games and music. Our young people are having an amazing time fixing up their bikes, especially as they get to keep them at the end of the programme. We had to postpone one of our workshops last month due to adverse weather conditions – not great, but we still enjoyed the snow!  And what’s even more amazing is that the Camden Metropolitan Police were kind enough to come down to CCA (in the snow, may we add) to donate twelve bikes for our bike project. Huge thanks from us all at Castlehaven.

On International Women’s Day, the team from Lauderdale House hosted an arts and crafts session for our young people to celebrate the many achievements of women.

One member told our youth worker: “I love the social atmosphere of Youth Club, and that’s why I really enjoy coming here.”

Kerb Cooks is coming back on March 14th, and we can’t wait to get cooking with them again.
